The founder of a new industrial supplies business got in touch with us in order to put together a website and an online e-commerce shop for business to business sales. Working with the client, we decided they could create the copy for the website themselves and we could then drop it into place. This allowed the website to be fully featured, but still on budget.
The eCommerce aspect of the website had to be secure, easy to use and facilitate a number of demands specific to this client. As user experience is key for online conversion, we implemented a powerful platform that provides a simple and easy to use order system. With a very large catalogue of products and many options and specifications for each product, this platform was essential for making the correct products easy to find and select. Partnered with an advanced payment portal, it was possible to streamline the ordering process as much as possible. As all kinds of customers become used to making online purchases incredibly easily, even a small obstruction in this process can stop a sale.
A finishing touch that added an extra dimension to the customer service on offer was the implementation of a live chat function. Displayed on the website as an unobtrusive pop up, this gives visitors to the site the ability to instantly get in touch with any questions or queries, further increasing the chances of conversion.
